wcsFullname: 'Wendy Saulters',
	bioText: '

Wendy Saulters is an innately talented and professionally trained literary artist from Annapolis, Maryland. As an artist, her talents include painting, photography, graphic design, and writing, producing and performing brilliant works of art in the forms of spoken word, novels, and plays. Whatever the genre, Wendy’s work is engaging and through it, she strives to not only challenge human nature, but also to inspire.

Wendy has trained and studied in New York, California and England. She is a graduate of the New Actor’s Workshop (NAW) in Manhattan, New York. At NAW she learned script analysis, interpretation and scene study under the direction of George Morrison and Mike Nichols. She learned story theatre from Paul Sills and improvisation from Rex Knowles and Sherry Landrum. Learning and working directly with these pioneers of the acting community rooted and shaped her raw talent for entertaining. After regularly performing in “Luck of the Draw” an improv show presented by NAW, stage managing and getting a taste of directing Wendy graduated and moved to California to continue her training.

In California, Wendy received her Bachelor of Arts degree with distinction and a concentration in Creative Writing, from San Diego State University. She was also an active member of the African-American Writers & Artists (AAW&A), a creative group dedicated to the development and promotion of the arts in San Diego County. Wendy has been the feature poet at several events in San Diego County and has collaborated with numerous artists, musicians, and dancers. Her craft also led her to England, where she studied at the University of Plymouth. Studying in England gave her the opportunity to increase her screen, travel and biography writing techniques.

After years of performing spoken word, teaching and writing; Wendy started WCSProductions. It is her passion to continue pursuing excellence in the arts. Through WCS Productions she is presenting original pieces of work and exposing extraordinary talent. She is partnering with local playhouses and community businesses to enrich communities, artists, and patrons. Wendy is a charismatic and creative person bringing ideas to literature, to stage, to life.
',
	virgilsLaw: 'Virgil\'s Law',
virgilsLawDescription: 'explores moral issues through the dynamics of a grieving family. Virgil’s Law is an amendment to the death penalty that mandates capital punishment be carried out by the immediate family of the victim. This play challenges the idea of justice and questions moral responsibility. It shies from offering solutions, but creates a base for great discussions. We see the impact of this law in the life of Elizabeth Earling. Her daughter has been raped and murdered and if the man accused is to be put to death, it’s up to her to flip the switch.',
